  1. I absolutely loved I am Malala. Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult was another favourite that I can’t stop recommending to people, as well as Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys!

  2. My favourite book of 2015 would have to be I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson. The writing was beautiful and that book just really stuck with me πŸ™‚

    1. Absolutely adored I’ll Give You the Sun too Michelle!

There’s something about Jandy Nelson’s writing that makes her characters come alive, I honestly walked around for months expecting to bump into Jude and Noah.

And let’s not forget the incredibly visual style of the book that, I felt, really added to the whole experience.

Have you read The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy?

      1. I absolutely loved the relationship between Noah & Jude, it’s one of my favourite sibling relationships in YA.

I actually read The Sky is Everywhere last month and I got the stunning one with the blue pages from you guys πŸ™‚

    1. Aaaaaah LOVE Poison Study!

I’m such a sucker for a strong female lead and any sort of magic is an added plus!

Have you read the complete Chronicles of Ixia series yet?

  3. My favourite book would have to be Slammed by Colleen Hoover. It was the first book of hers that I read and it made me cry. It was so beautiful!

  4. I adored Carry On by Rainbow Rowell! As usual, Rainbow’s super witty writing style was fantastic to read. I had initially been a bit skeptical, because the Carry On parts were the parts I kind of skimmed over in Fangirl at first, and in Carry On’s first chapter I kept making constant Harry Potter parallels (I mean, Harry Potter is the bomb but I didn’t want a complete copy), but then it quickly expanded into its own intriguing story with memorable characters (and the best ship). It just beat A Court of Thorn and Roses by Sarah J Maas for being my top 2015 release πŸ™‚

  6. After You by Jojo Moyes brought tears to my eyes (yet another in the series to do so). The story took me places I had never expected it to have, and that’s why it was my favourite book of 2015!

  7. I read a lot of really good books in 2015, but I think my favourite had to be The Girl With All The Gifts by MR Carey. But it’s really tough because The Raft by Fred Strydom is definitely up there, and Gone Girl is somewhere in there, The Girl Who Saved the King of Sweden, and just SO MANY!

It’s one of my go-to recommendations when my friends are in a reading slump.

  8. Oh with so many to choose from its almost close to impossible, but I would have to go with November 9 by Colleen Hoover , she has a magical way of making even the biggest cynic believe in true love again. Following the story of a love that stands the test of time and wins is always great and I love that the female protagonist was a book worm too, always makes it more relatable.

  9. The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey

I don’t normally read this type of book, but it grabbed me from the beginning…probably more sci-fi, but well worth the read.

  11. The Wrath and the dawn and a Court of thorns and roses and Queen of Shadows. There were so many great books and I think if I make a list it would be more like Wikipedia Fact listing. This year on the other is going to be a hard one for picking favorites, I’ll rather run down the street naked than pick just one.😁
